The Gold Medallist, Ian Gooi Yuan Chieh

 

International Competition for Schools (English) is organised by University of New South Wales, Australia. Over 85,000 students in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei took part in the competition last year.

152 students from PFS participated in the competition last year. 8 received the Certificate of High Distinction, 26 received the Certificate of Distinction and 48 received the Certificate of Credit. Certificate of High Distinction is given only to the top 1% of the entrants.

The eight students who scored High Distinctions are Ian Gooi Yuan Chieh, Arian Cheah, Joel Goh Tse Wen, Khoo Teng Jian, Khor Jo El, Koay Seng Beng, Lim Vern Yew and Neoh Joon Kee.

Because of his exceptionally excellent performance, Ian Gooi Yuan Chieh is awarded the prestigious Gold Medal from the University of New South Wales.
