Co-curricular

 

The policy of the school extra-curricular policy are as follows :

Form 1 to 5 : Each student must participate in at least one uniformed body, one game/sport and one club/society.

Form 6 : Each student is required to participate in a minimum of at least one uniformed body and either one sport/game OR one club/society.

The aims of this policy are as follows :

  1. To provide a balance between academic studies and extra-curricular activities without an over-emphasis on the latter at the expense on the former.
  2. To have a common basis for the operation of extra-mural activities.
  3. To raise the standard of games and sports and/or to enrich the academic experiences of students.
  4. To provide more meaningful and better organized programmes for clubs/societies.
  5. To provide training in leadership.
  6. Two bodies, the Council of Clubs and Societies and the Sports Council co-ordinate all the activities in the school.
